Wireless Compost Temperature Monitoring System

Ensure regulatory compliance and avoid tedious, expensive and dangerous manual process.

Quanturi compost temperature monitoring system

Quanturi compost monitoring system provides continuous temperature data to optimize the transformation process of biowaste into compost.
The temperature history gives a complete view of the composting process from fermentation to curing and maturation. The generated reports are a guarantee for sanitary authorities and customers that compost has been produced in compliance with the regulations in effect.
The Quanturi system is compatible with all types of composting (windrows and in-vessels) and all types of inputs (green waste, sludge, digestate ...).

Benefits of Quanturi compost monitoring system

Compliance

The Quanturi compost monitoring system avoids the tedious, expensive and imprecise task of manually measuring and documenting temperatures. The online service offers instant temperature visualization and conformity reports in accordance with the relevant sanitary regulations.

Safety

The wireless Quanturi waste monitoring system reduces risks of work accidents by avoiding contacts with dangerous fumes (e.g. ammoniac, nitrogen). Temperature monitoring is done remotely and continuously and is available online at any time.

Quality

Continuous temperature monitoring with the Quanturi system helps determine the right time to turn and aerate the compost pile during decomposition. It also helps control the curing and maturing phases, improving the quality of the compost.

How does the Quanturi bio-waste monitoring system work?

Tango XN temperature probes for compost

The Tango XN temperature probes have been specifically designed for use in corrosive composting environment. These probes are placed in compost piles and wirelessly measure the temperature. Quanturi’s yellow, robust wireless temperature probes are easily visible and compatible with all installation configurations, including composting platforms and digestate management. Their spike length is 100 cm or 200 cm to meet national temperature monitoring standards.

The mobile base station

The mobile base station collects measurement data from the Tango XN compos temperature monitoring probes and sends it to Quanturi’s secure cloud. Equipped with an integrated SIM card, the mobile base station receives real-time data from the temperature measurement probes. It processes this information and transmits it to the cloud, where our monitoring application retrieves and analyses it.

Quanturi.app

Quanturi.app is the service application for controlling the temperature monitoring system. The application is available in web address: https://quanturi.app and can be accessed from any terminal (smartphone, computer, tablet) and at any time.

Compost data plan

The Compost Data service plan gives full control over the temperature monitoring process of compost. The composting site can be virtually mapped to visualize the location and the temperature history of each probe placed in compost. Activity reports are also available for traceability and conformity of compost.

RC 12 compost ventilation controller

The RC12 is the latest addition to the Quanturi composting monitoring system, designed to optimize the composting process while reducing energy costs. It enables compost producers to remotely control ventilation lines, effectively regulating temperature and oxygen levels.

Key benefits of compost ventilation controller

Reduce energy costs

Set up your ventilation plan to align with peak and off-peak pricing in your electricity contract.

Remote access

Control and check the ventilation of your compost from any location using an easy to use application.

Fire safety

Automate windrow cooling process through continuous ventilation until a safer temperature is achieved in case of a runaway composting process.

Individual fan control

Manage each fan to ensure optimal oxygenation and temperature target achievement.

Temperature-controlled ventilation

Set temperature targets, define ventilation cycles tailored to the compost composition, and take into account adverse weather conditions.
