The Quanturi mobile base station does not need internet to operate. Using the mobile network (2G and 4G) it is able to transfer the data measured by the probes directly to your application without going through the internet network.

1. Grain monitoring probes
The Quanturi Multipoint grain monitoring sensor probes are wireless, extremely robust, and durable for grain temperature monitoring. They allow real-time 24/7 tracking of temperature continuously at every meter in grain silos and bulk storage.
The wireless multipoint probe sensors, available in lengths up to 4 meters, measure the temperature at every meter, including ambient temperature.
2. Base station
The base station receives the measurement data from the Multipoint probes and sends it every hour to the online SUPERVISOR APPLICATION. The base station is either GPRS-based with an internal SIM card or directly connected to the Internet via Ethernet.

The Quanturi SUPERVISOR APPLICATION is specifically tailored for grain silos and bulk grain storage or commodities facilities. Its specialized features enable efficient, automated year-round grain temperature monitoring.

Step 1
Go to www.quanturi.app/activation to activate your system by entering code from base station. Set up your account by creating a username and password, then verify your phone number and add your probes.
Step 2
Connect the included power supply to an electric outlet to initiate base station. The probes start sending data within 1 hour from the base station start-up.
Step 3
Quanturi.app is a service platform for viewing probe data and managing your account settings. Log in using the same credentials you created in the first step.

What is the purpose of the base station?
The base station plays an important role in the grain monitoring solution. It is the middleman between your temperature measurement probes and your monitoring application. It allows you to transfer the data collected at your plant to the cloud, so that you can transfer it to your smartphone.
Can I use the system to monitor other commodities?
Yes, the system can be used to monitor a wide range of commodities, including seeds, soybeans, cotton, peat, wood chips, almond hulls, and shells. It is currently in use by our customers worldwide. For references or further information, please feel free to contact us.

Yes, the settings provided by your SUPERVISOR application enable you to manage each of your probes individually and customize your alert settings according to the process they are located in.
Can I locate my probes from the application?
The Quanturi Grain SUPERVISOR application enables you to create an accurate model of your storage facility at your plant, providing an overall view of your operations. You can view the position of each of your Tango M probes in your storage areas.
What is the maximum distance between the base station and the probes?
The Tango M probes have a range of 200m in the open and our mobile base station can be installed anywhere outdoors. If you choose the ethernet base station but your office is more than 200m from the probes, don’t worry, you can extend the communication distance with our signal repeaters. Our consultants are here to help you find the best solution for your plant.
Can I export the data in excel format?
With the Quanturi Grain SUPERVISOR, you can export all collected data, including various analyses such as temperature history and traceability reports, in CSV format.

Are your probes guaranteed?
All our probes are available with a service contract that includes the maintenance of your probes during their entire life cycle, their replacement and their recycling. You are guaranteed a functional system at all times.
How often do Tango M probes measure the temperature?
Tango M probes measure the temperature once an hour 24/7.
How many probes can I have per base station?
One base station can read up to 200 probes and one plant can be equipped with several base stations.
Should the probes be calibrated?
We use digital probes that do not require calibration. This is a considerable advantage over analog probes, which have a significant temperature drift over time. Periskop provides accurate data, all the time.
