Frequently Asked Questions

How does the probes work with the software application?

Quanturi temperature probes are wireless. They send temperature data to a base station, which transfers the data to Quanturi’s secure cloud, where you can access temperature insights on various devices.

What is the signal range of the temperature sensors?

In free space the signal range of quanturi wireless probes are 200 m or 650 ft.

What is the battery life of the sensors?

Quanturi sensors have varying battery lifespans depending on the model and usage environment. HAYTECH, Tango M and Laundry probes have a battery life of up to 5 years at room temperature. Tango XN probes, used for compost monitoring, typically last 2 to 3 years under the same conditions.

What kind of materials can be monitored with temperature sensor probes?

Temperature probes are ideal for monitoring combustible materials. They are used in compost, mulch piles, hay storage facilities, bulk agricultural commodity storage, and commercial laundry facilities.

Does a probe need calibration like manual thermometers?

Quanturi temperature probes does not require calibration. They are factory calibrated. However, if it's a compliance requirement then you should contact  customer support team.  They will help you with certification and calibration approval.

Are temperature probes are safe to use?

Quanturi temperature monitoring probes comply with internationally recognized regulatory standards, including CE Marking (European Conformity), the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Compliance Mark, and the Regulatory Compliance Mark (RCM) for Australia and New Zealand.
